Frequently asked questions.
How quickly can I be seen for therapy?
I aim to schedule a consultation within a week of you reaching out. We can discuss your needs, interest, motivation, and scheduling. The free consultation is a quick 10-15 minutes where we will go over all of those details.
What can I expect in therapy?
You will complete an intake questionnaire so we can jump into building rapport and focusing on what areas you want to make changes in. We will meet for 45-55 minutes virtually on a schedule that works for both of us. I use an evidence-based approach to work with you on how you see yourself, others, and the world to make meaningful changes both in and out of therapy. The goal is to get you feeling your best self.
How long does therapy last?
A set timeline for therapy is typically not helpful and can feel too long for some and too short for others. Some clients only wanted brief therapy to build skills while others may need a lengthier time to process trauma. We will work together to discuss your unique situation and goals to set a timeline and frequency that fits your needs.
